AB x Sheen Series
My first ever collaboration was with Sheen, a jewelry brand that stocks its stunning designs at Sauce Rocks. This gave me an opportunity to create 4 different looks all inspire by the versatility and beauty of Sheen’s jewelry and here is the last one!
I know Dubai is getting cooler and it is time to bring out our jackets and boots. But, during the day, the weather is warm and pleasant still. Therefore, I do use a lot of my summer wear during the Dubai winter.
One such item is the Kimono! I think everyone I know loves the Kimono trend because they can make almost any outfit more interesting. Whether you wear it over skinny denims for a brunch, shorts for a concert or with your swimsuit, it just helps the outfit look more pulled together and on trend.
Since I am short and curvy, I make sure that I wear a kimono over body hugging clothing and I usually pick a darker color to look slimmer. You could even add a belt to it if you want to accentuate your curves!
I bought this gorgeous floral printed kimono, from the brand Ginger, on Namshi. I wore it over a white bodysuit and my H&M ripped jeans for a chic and relaxed look. It is essential that the jeans aren’t skinnies so the look stays modern. This is the most easiest and common way to style any long kimono.
Since I kept the outfit simple, I carried my metallic Karl Lagerfeld tote to add some quirk. I picked up this a while back, and it is the handiest tote ever! It has enough compartments for all your stuff and is big enough to carry your flats to wear after a long day of meetings or events. I wore my Christian Louboutin Lady Peep suede heels to complete this day look.
Even though this outfit is casual, I wanted to add some glam to it and therefore wore this stunning peach pearls and diamonds neck-piece from Sheen. This too is from their latest collection called ‘Aisha’, which I am totally in love with. This collection is inspired by the designer’s Kashmiri heritage and her grandmother’s vintage jewelry. The motif in this necklace I am wearing is very similar to the embroidery made on Kashmiri pashmina shawls.
This was my last look from my collaboration with Sheen. Hope you enjoyed this series!
