Exhibition season is upon us and all of us are set to buy pretty outfits for the upcoming festival of Diwali or any weddings we will be attending.
For this reason, I was super excited to collaborate with AM:PM, who will be show-casing their latest collection on 8th & 9th of September at Shangri-La Hotel.
The designers, Ankur & Priyanka Modi, are known for their eloquent designs that are focused on wearability, comfort and style. They are bringing to Dubai a collection of supremely wardrobe-worthy designs that you will want to get your hands on!
AM:PM’s newest AW 17 collection is named ‘ELILI’. ‘ELILI’ which means beautiful in Tamil, is a festive collection inspired by the incredible South Indian heritage, temples and crafts. With luxurious fabrics coupled with chic silhouettes, traditional methods of handicraft and detailed embellishments, AM:PM has truly brought the region’s time-honored legacy to life.
This top from the ‘ELILI’ collection by AM:PM is one that caught my eye since I could immediately see the versatility of it. With such light fabric, its blush pink color and delicate details, I could see myself wearing it on jeans for a day look or a dhoti and heavy earrings for a wedding function. The top is definitely a statement piece with its gorgeous cut, delicate embroidery and super adorable little birdie at the bottom.
AM:PM is all about making clothes for the Modern Indian and that’s the look I wanted to create here; therefore jeans seemed the perfect thing to wear it with. Moreover, it helped to highlight the elegance of the top. These jeans are from River Island, which is a great store for buying good fitting jeans if your curvy like me.
All I needed to complete this savvy and chic look was a bit of bling. I paired this outfit with my Bvlgari silver bag from the ‘Serpenti Forever’ collection and my classic shimmery Jimmy Choo pumps. I went for metallic accessories since they seemed neutral for a day time look.
So, I am definitely in love with AM:PM’s designs and I will definitely be going for the exhibition!
Hope to see you tomorrow ladies!
